Dr. Jeff Laughlin
Dr. Jeff Laughlin grew up in Wilburton, a small town in southeastern Oklahoma. He and his wife, Julie, met while in grade school at the church Julie attended when Jeff’s grandfather was called to be their pastor. During Jeff’s second semester of college he and Julie began dating. They married July 8, 1995. After being married, Jeff continued his education and graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Science Education degree in 2001. While at NSU he felt and answered the call to serve as pastor. After graduating from NSU the Laughlin’s moved to Fort Worth so Jeff could attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated in 2005 with his Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages. He later felt the call and returned to Southwestern to work on his doctoral degree. He graduated with his Doctor of Ministry in Worldview and Cultural engagement in 2017. His dissertation is entitled Nurturing a Christian Worldview in Youth.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication & Theatre, specializing in acting & directing in 2002 from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master’s of Fine Arts Degree, specializing in American Musical Theatre performance & history in 2004 from San Diego State University in Southern California. Having lived and performed on stages in and around San Diego California and in New York City, New York, he is happy to return home and serve the church in which he was raised.
Teaching school for 15+ years has given Jamie not only a love for teens but also an understanding when dealing with today’s youth. Jamie is married to Larry together they have 2 daughters and one granddaughter.
I’ve been going to Windom Baptist Church since 1984. I accepted Christ in 1991 and have been a member of WBC ever since. My husband, Sean, and I have been married for 10+ years. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Katie & Abbie.
Growing up at WBC I was part of the children’s choir and attended many church camps as a camper and also as a chaperon.
When I got out of high school I became a cosmetologist. After I had my first daughter, I started working for Fannin County and I now have worked for the county for 14+ years. In my spare time, I volunteer for the Relay for Life, Honey Grove School Board, and many other volunteer positions. Matthew 19:14
